LIBRARY AMENITIES
The San Luis Obispo Law Library features a range of services that can make your life just that much easier. Whether you are looking for research and reference assistance, want materials sent to you or are looking for conference space near the San Luis Obispo Courthouse, the Law Library can meet your needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
The Law Library offers free wireless internet access. Patrons with their wireless-ready laptops and smart devices can access the internet, along with the library's many subscription databases.
COPY, PRINT, AND SCANNER SERVICES
The Law Library provides a self-service copier and scanner for patron use. The machines take coins and bills however you may also pay at the front desk. Black/white copies are $0.15 per page, $0.50 per page for color, and same rates apply for scanning.
PUBLIC COMPUTERS
Whether you want to draft a document for court or access one of our subscription databases, San Luis Obispo Law Library's public computers are available to you!
Access to Industry Leading Databases
- Access to Westlaw, CEB OnLaw, NOLO Guides, and other electronic legal databases
- Email, print, or download practice materials directly from the databases
Software to Draft Court Documents
- In addition to the Microsoft Office Suite, San Luis Obispo Law Library provides pre-formatted pleading paper.
- Access sample language, templates, and guides from databases to help in drafting documents.
CONFERENCE ROOM

For Attorney and Public use, centrally located downstairs at the San Luis Obispo Courthouse.
